Mosaics in Strata was a two week program at the OxBow School of Art and Artists' Residency in Saugatuck, Michigan. Over fourteen days our group of eleven artists curated and created ceramic works for what would become a permanent installation along the wall of the pottery studio on campus. The group was led by Dove Hornbuckle (they/them) and Saffronia Downing (she/they), experienced ceramicists and first-time muralists. As a group we decided on the theme "Earthly Magic".

I had the pleasure of working with Sebastian Thomas and Veronica Clapp for two sections of the mural: the front entrance and the centerpiece. The three of us were drawn together by our love of dramatic compositions and ample indoor studio space.
