For all their lives Icon and Kirocco have been inseparable, but everything changes one day when Kirocco mysteriously disappears. Dazed and dejected, Icon grapples with his newfound solitude, yearning to understand the person he is outside their friendship.
All the while the world, vast and magical, evolves at erratic speeds with a ferocity not seen for hundreds of billions of years. Despite a lifetime of investigation, strange encounters with unknown creatures reveal that Icon knows far less about his origins than he initially thought…
